Alice
The rhythmic flow of the story was seamlessly translated into the exhibition design, making visitors empathise with the character of Alice. Consequently, it was deliberately decided to create a dynamic flow, alternating moments of relaxation with active experiences, thus involving visitors both emotionally and physically through multi-sensory encounters. The curatorship was guided by our desire to create sensory spaces that translated the essence of the story, highlighting its chromatic, textual and experiential details. Our aim was to immerse visitors in an exploration of sensations, allowing for personal interpretations of the curatorial translations of the narrative. To achieve this, a series of carefully selected artworks were chosen to reflect the uniqueness of the story. Rather than presenting obvious or trivial experiences, our aim was to create a rollercoaster of emotions for visitors, inviting them to walk and observe Wonderland through Alice’s eyes.
